🌿Nymphaea Lotus (Red) is a beautiful aquatic plant species originating from West Africa, known for its varied green to red-brown leaves with purple spots. It can grow up to 20-80 cm tall and before forming floating leaves, it produces many underwater leaves. Pruning the roots and leaves can prevent the plant from producing floating leaves.
This plant is recommended as a solitary species for large aquariums and its aromatic flowers can be fully appreciated in open aquariums. Nymphaea lotus (zenkeri) thrives in a nutritious bottom, and there are often red and green varieties available in the market.
